Too funny, danke.....next-- please teach us the months of the year please. I take care of a wonderful disabled person whose parents used to speak German to her when they were alive. I do my best with my limited German. Your videos help. For instance , the S in Samstag and Sonnentag are pronounces with Z. I did not know that. I could study it on my own but this is more interesting. Thanks.

@assbach I mean it's not a very noticeable accent...or you just speak English so well you can kind of hide it

No not confusing - this is simple for me to remember since I have known this since I was a kid - the word Guten Tag. I thought it meant "Good Day" or something?! Guten Abend - Good Evening - Guten Morgen - Good Morning?! Now I am confused. Heeheee Will have to write down Schonen Tag! I should really study if I want to learn - but I just want to know the simple stuff. Ohhh German is hard! :) And btw...google translate says Hello and Good day = Guten Tag. Just fuktin' tag. lol thx4 ur help

@SARAL76 Okay, i will record a new one soon also. Btw we don't say "Guten Tag" like "Have a nice day" or "cu" ... at the end of a letter or mail. "Guten Tag!" is actually just a greeting when you see someone for the first time that day like "Hello".
You can say "Schönen Tag!" at the end, short for "Ich wünsche dir noch einen schönen Tag!" meaning "Have a nice day" or "I wish you're going to have a nice day".... :) confusing? i hope not. As always just trying to be helpful

Thanks-he said Thanks also. I will have to check all of your recordings - i'm sure you have told me before how to pronounce it...of course my favorites being the cussing. :) Danke & Guten Tag!

The person I take care of does not know the day unless we tell her. Everyday I tell her in my best German, I guess and this will let me know for certain. Thank you.
Well said! Are you German?

Your accent, what is it? If it's German, why is it not very thick?
