Turn down the lights but keep your flashlight and batteries handy, as Xbox 360 unveils Bright Falls, a six-part live action series that serves as a thrilling prequel to the mystery unfolding in Alan Wake. Each episode will bring you to the edge of your seat and spur your curiosity with the same eerie and suspenseful cliffhangers as in the game. TV fans will find that the series evokes the same ghostly chills as Twin Peaks did when it premiered 20 years ago this month.

  • Alan Wake is in my top three games and Bright Falls was honestly the best marketing tool I have ever seen for any game ever.

  • Mannnnnn I would love to see more of this series. Hopefully they'll have a Bright Falls series continuation if they make a new Alan Wake >:D I mean, obviously the series was connected to Alan Wake, but it seemed to be leading up to something different that hasn't quite been explained yet.

  • BRILLIANT. I LOVE how it looks and feels alot like David Lynch, plus also Black Iris' song Stranger Shadows is fucking eargasmic how it just oozes with ominous sexiness

  • When could something like this actually be a proper TV series...? It would be totally awesome! :D

  • wow those are mad graphics lol jks

  • @DonJelopy

    I couldn`t agree more

  • I'm not sure if anyone here has noticed... but I'm sure I can make the statement that Alan Wake is extremely similar, and most likely influenced by Twin Peaks. That show was utterly amazing. Playing through Alan Wake brought back indescribable nostalgia. Twin Peaks aired in the late 80's before I was born, but I'm glad my father introduced it to me.

  • @masterassassin18 lol yeah me too
