Wahine Ilikea - Lihue Airport - Kauai` 2009

On our way back to the mainland as we were going through security at the Lihue Airport I could hear the sweet sounds of vocal harmonies to Opihi Man coming from inside the terminal. Once inside the terminal area we saw the duo performing and we went up to sit down in front of them. They saw my ukulele and asked what I had in there and invited me to play with them. Mrs Dominator didn't think to video tape until we were almost done with Henehene Kou `Aka but she did capture Wahine Ilikea.

Big Mahalos to Kahalau Leoiki and Keala Kauanui for allowing me to sit in with them. I wish we could have stayed to catch their 2nd set.

Wow, very nice... if I had read the description first I might not have watched it - I didnt, so I thought Dom was part of the group for years... amazing stuff! Wish I was there... but then, I'm here... where you wish you were. lol.
