Dr. James Leary, CTAHR Invasive Weed Specialist, returns to observe the early successes of a field trial targeting fireweed, Senecio madagascariensis (after 3 weeks). The Wet Blade® chemical delivery system is evaluated using herbicides with the active ingredients 2,4-Dichlorophenol, metsulfuron methyl and chlorsulfuron, and aminopyralid under high wind conditions. Partial funding provided by the USDA via the RREA and TSTAR programs.
