The pen is cool but the knife is junk. Money can be spent better elsewhere.

Hey gunnut226, Just wanted to tell you for your own refrence. the back deployment on those knives that have them are called "Outbursts" On this knife its a "Rear Outburst" but you can get fworward outbursts and dual outbursts as well. Sorry but i just heard you struggling with the name of the deployment feture. There you go just in case you come across any others. Awesome review by the way, good info.

i wonder if thats the uzi pen just rebranded. they call the crown part a dna catcher. for scraping the shit out of people and catching some of there dna in there. check out the uzi pen and watch combo too. the pens are almost identical. metal cartridge thats a good sign. ah the pentel energel pen. not bad. the jeep and humvee knife look almost identical too. the back body screw of one of my byrd cara cara stripped out. by itself. that blows. cheap ass screws. is superglued the handle. itll work

@PavlovSandor It does look very similar to the UZI tactical pen. I am new to tactical pens and I really like them. Superglue can work for a while, but JBweld could be a final solution.

Hey my friend. Good review. I like tactical pens...at least the concept. I've never owned one so maybe I wouldn't like them. I'll have to pick one up. Try some etching primer before paint on your pocket clip. That primmer tends to etch and chemically bond into the metal. That SHOULD give your paint a little more durability. You can get it in a spray can at Walmart or most auto parts stores.

@SnowLobo95 Thanks for the tip. I will track some etching primer down and give it a try. I would like this paint to be more durable. I also considered duracoat, however, that would take a lot more time and preparation. Thanks.
