  • slava is amazing, no doubt about it. he's an absolute legend, i had the honor of being able to play for him when he was still living, and i can say first hand that he was a quality individual as well as a cellist....

but to hear a brilliant cellist like capucon is so refreshing. it gets us out of the musical ruts of the greats we've been listening to for years. :)

  • I like the picture. and the music of course :)

  • @MrGoncello that's the problem nowadays...people think music is all about pyrotechnics and wildness...if it's not flashy they think it's boring. Not saying that mr capucon here is shallow, but that's all people hear nowadays. Whatever happened to real musical values of the old masters?

  • @MadamDoolally i aso like this version a lot, but... rostropovich... cold??? and can t transmit anything?? i m sorry but i cant agree with you, Slava was such a passionate cellist...

  • vunderfall... this guy have soul, not like rostropovich, cold and not trnasmit anything
