Hi, My DVD player for some reason does NOT play MPEG4, So what other option is the quickest/best format to convert it to?

mp4 doesn't make a small file size. H.264 makes it small. As others have pointed out, mp4 is just the container.

I heard .flv is the native format for YouTube and the best for it.

@taltigolt Yea, these 1st, 2nd comments get annoying fast and a main reason why I disable comments here on YouTube. It seems people just can't control themselves and post topic relative comments. And some people wonder why I disable comments :/
