This is the test ride I did earlier after completing some work on the bike.

I did a modification to the carburetor. You can find details of the carb mod over at the MT Riders Club http://www.mtridersclub.co.uk/ . Its given a little more poke on the roads, very worthwhile!

I also fitted a wider fuel pipe, it ran ok previously, but I dont think I put the right size on before. Hopefully thisll help the fuel get through more easily.

  • What's the top speed you got on this bike?

  • @wolflover552 In the book it says 79MPH, Mine goes to around 85 though without the panniers on.

  • sweet!!! go commando stu go !!!!! are those fuel cans in the front?

  • @67kneil No, they're just big storage boxes, although I think you can fit big fuel cans in there. The only thing which matters though, is that each one will carry a crate of 24 cans of beer! (Those man sized can's, not the wimpy half sized ones that everyone drinks from in the american films).

See my website for pictures of more (Much, much more) storage on the bike, lol, maybe a little overboard!

  • @MadStu How much is a bike like that?

  • @svengalie No probs, I have a similar (though smaller) problem on my other youtube channel. Yeah I'll visit soon though so we can compare scars!

  • @MadStu lol sorry, I'm useless. I've talked to about a million and a half people on youtube.

You should bring your bike over to show me!

  • @svengalie I'm in BRIGHTON! I'm sure I've told you about 3 times before, lol

There was loads of Police all along Lewes Road yesterday, from the BP garage up to the A27. I though it strange when I saw all the dirt bikes, I think there was some work being done in Wild Park, chopping down trees or something, so there may have been some tree huggers or the like protesting.

I've never seen the police dirt bikes before though. Wish I'd recorded it properly. I pressed the wrong button though!

  • @RC62 Cheers mate :)

  • Glad to see you getting the bike working well. ;^)
