In light of their American-themed exhibition, the British Museum celebrate American Independence Day with America's own dance - the Lindy Hop. Featuring a great performance by the Jiving Lindy Hoppers, the original sound quality in the hall was so bad I've had to overdub a version of Sing Sing Sing - hope you like it! If you enjoyed this, please see my other videos of dance-related events.

  • Nice! Tight and Smooth !

  • No! this is Swing Swing Swing by Louis Prima in 1935, which was immortalized by Benny Goodman with Gene Krupa at the drums and called sing sing sing...

  • A joy to watch and lovely to see so many giving it a go!!!! That's what I call music!!!!

  • Actually "Sing Sing Sing" is by Louis Prima who most people now associate with "Jumpin', Jive & Wail". Benny Goodman did have the hit with it.

  • @asbriel thanks!
