This message is very needed by many, many women and young girls in our culture. Thank you WFA for putting in the effort to get the message out. Even if one young girl starts to realise she's valuable and beautiful just the way she is, then it's been worthwhile. Keep up the great work! I read a story once about a women whose body was covered with moles, yet she learned to love herself, body included, and ended up married to a man who loved her just as much. If she can do it, so can we!

Guitar Player Magazine is running an ad in it's November 2007 issue by AXL Guitars that shows a young woman on the floor, bound by string to a guitar, with a guitarist behind her. The caption reads, "Another toy to add to your collection".

Very disturbing.
Learn to love yourself.

Really? That sounds like a VERY sexist ad rhocando. I know Dolce and Gabbana had an ad of theirs banned in certain parts of the globe because it sexualized the idea of rape.

this is a fantastic video. It makes points that I already knew, but in a succinct and more accessible that most of the literature i have read on the subject. I would like this expanded into a television programme (for the abc or something), so that more viewers have the opportunity to see it.
