My marching band played this as a lullaby as par of our show! Love it!

The only piece that I know that has more emotion behind it is Colonial Songs by Grainger (The band arrangement played by University of Houston). I love the chords that flow throughout the melodic parts, particularly in the horns, flutes and trumpets.

Samuel Hazo came to our school on Thursday and he is just the funniest, outgoing man I've met. He conducted this piece and helped us with this song and it is just amazing :) He is a great teacher. He inspired a lot of us to be better players.
"Instead of playing music, play your life story through your instrument."
