  • Thanks for sharing this. How long have you been playing?

  • Since I could see over the table. This was the first way I was taught how to do simple banks. Now it is just intuition, thank you.

  • dude i have to hand it to ya. i been shootin since about 10 years ago but have never had noone teach me anything. Ive been a pretty good stick in the bars and on the pool legue but your videos took alot of work out of the bankshots and the cut shots (freakin awsome)

  • for those of you saying its a stupid system,

this video is meant to show beginners the basic idea of how to bank and where you should be aiming when executing a bank shot

  • Nice vid, but isnt it more accurate to aim at the JAWS of the imaginary pocket, rather than the hole. Also you can just measure from the JAWS to the end of the wood of the rail. By doing that you dont have to estimate how thick the rail is and dont have to add to the distance pocket-pocket. I may be wrong, but that is what logic thinking tells me.

  • I was already decent at my bank shots but it was pure intuition... I was looking for a system behind it all and after watching quite a few of these videos I liked yours the best!! Real simple! Do you use the same concept for the long bank?

  • I all ready wanted to kick your ass at 1:55 lol :)

  • great job!

  • This is an accurate system that has been used for many years.

Of course the speed you hit the ball and any english will effect the outcome.

  • hmm. i dont understand how to use this technique but it seems to work for you. you should probly also mention speed effecting your banks too

  • @pokerfreak12 Pros don't go through so many motions because they're good and it's second nature to them. I still have to occasionally analyze difficult cutshots when i'm at the table and that's simply because I'm not the best player.

This guy is trying to teach people banks, not show how good he is.

  • Man, when I saw your video I had to try it and sure it enough it works! Well at least most of the time, lol.

When I play at the pool hall, I like to use the other tables near by as a reference. I typically aim for the pocket on the other table. I taught my buddy this trick and today he managed to shoot a 3-9 combo bank and he made the 9 :\.

  • FUCK! Sweet tip! Thanks for uploading this dude.

  • that's random allright!
