VOX VISION presents "BENAZIR BHUTTO" The Movie

Former prime minister and leader of the leading opposition party Benazir Bhutto plans to begin her historic return flight to Pakistan from Dubai, ending her more than eight-year-old self-exile. In Pakistan, her party members are setting up a pompous reception little do they know that Karachi will, once again, witness a worst bloodshed, body parts flying in all directions, some even beyond recognition. But it will not stop the 'Daughter of the East', as she was called, from continuing her journey across Pakistan to motivate the masses.
With the national elections scheduled for January 2008, her Pakistan People's Party is poised for a victory that will make Bhutto prime minister of Pakistan for the third time. Only a few weeks before the election, the horror strikes again. Only this time she will follow her father's footsteps to martyrdom.
Her assassination comes at a time when Pakistan's social fiber is in a fragile state and in a desperate need for a political leader with not only a wide exposure to politics but has the charisma and power to move the masses.
Benazir Bhutto -- the movie, explores the life of Benazir after her return to Pakistan to her final resting place next to her father, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

Democratic institutions take years to establish. But our army and intelligence never allowed that to happen! Just because they knew that a democratic government would restrict them to act independently! if they let the governments to stay in power, so the parties which did not do well in their Job would automatically not win in the next election! This would have created an environment of accountability and message that people wont vote for incompetent governments-whether of Muslim League or PPP

Shame on you'll to insult her like that! No matter what, she was woman and a former Prime Minister of Pakistan! We expect just one person to bring about change which is not possible--until and unless there is a revolution! I strongly believe that she tried her best to rise up against our corrupt establishment, who have brain washed Pakistanis about her. She was sorrounded by Hawks and did her best to work in the system which she inherited!
