someone I know owns this boat but without all of those passenger seats. It has 500 HP on it and can go 70 MPH. I've been on it a few times and it's amazing.

I am guessing that is because its got an inboard engine. The fuel tank has no space so they put it on the exterior. Must be easy to refuel.
