We like to believe that things like this don't happen anymore in our community, f***ing unbelievable. I'm not a usually a fan of putting down people in public, but this is a story I felt I had to share- what happened when my LGBTQ network tried to hook up with the flotilla to Gaza. Even if an opponent violates the human rights, the right-wing policy of Israel has NO RIGHT to do it as well. There's no good and bad crime.

Hamas has delivered only destruction to the people of Gaza, I have seen them do it with my own eyes (summary executions of Fatah loyalists in 2008 on the outskirts of Gaza City, for example). I believe that if people are concerned with the humanitarian situation in Gaza, they should focus their efforts on getting ride of Hamas. They are violent, corrupt, fanatical, absolute, and without regard for the people they claim to protect. Shame on them.

Kol haKavod!!! Interesting how no one comments about how Hamas and other Islamic groups are so hateful towards homosexuals though. Or is it because he is Israeli that no one wants to say that he is correct (which he is) when he says that these Islamists are brutally hateful towards gays? Also, regardless of how one feels towards Israel in light of the Israeli-Arab conflict, she is a country with a vibrant homosexual community that is accepted at large by the public.

And then I come home to the supposedly "enlightened" West and I observe all the social dysfunction of "gay" life, how unpleasant "gay" men often are to each other and how they tend to attach themselves emotionally to women rather than men....with other men (including each other) being sexually objectified.

I think there is a happy medium between the two cultures, but what exists in the West now is absolutely not good.
