Someone suggested the "serial" connector on the Korg monotribe might spit out MIDI signals. That person was right!

  • what was the old crazy retro looking computer over there doing?

  • @pricesmithmusic It's a digital oscilloscope. It shows the waveform of an electrical signal, in this case the MIDI signal.

  • How did you do MIDI over an Oscilloscope?

  • @tangofizz77 Do you know how an oscilloscope works? It just shows the voltage of any signal going up and down. Doesn't matter if it's MIDI or something else.

  • wtf kinda mad scientist lab is that??!

  • Looks like a bit of "planned obsolescence" from Korg - less design work next time round?? Ah who cares I'm going to buy the next one anyway who am I kidding.

  • @Chumpmaster65 No, it's an oscilloscope.

  • Mutant Revisited?

  • @Gameboygenius Ahh! I kinda thought that, but anywho, thanks!
