the first song I ever heard from her is "Something To Talk About' and then I keep on craving for more of her songs until I ended up collecting a lot of her albums...

I've ben in love with Bonnie from the beginning............I thought I had died when she first sang Love Me Like A Man......she's been helping the Fathers and Mothers of the Blues from the beginning.from Lightning to Sippie Wallace to John Lee...Bonnie is a national treasure.and rocks harder than most guys.........She ought to be on Mt.Rushmore

This is such a pure and simply beautiful song
I saw Bonnie as a warm up act to Jackson Brown on November 1, 1974 in Foster Auditorium at the University of Alabama. During the show Bonnie brought out an old black man to play with her. She knew him from her father who had played toured in the area. He was down on his luck and needed work. Because of Bonnie he ended up getting some steady gigs in town for a long time. I was not only blown away by her music but how she used her stage to help an old man. Not many musicians would have done so

good thing I did not see this after she performed it when she was 25 years old. if I did I may have stalked her until she agreed to marry me, then who knows where her career would have gone......
relax, just kidding folks. but absolutely astounding. the poetry,(thank you john prine!) the phrasing, the expression, the emotion, amazingly beautiful.
