@codafett Skyrim, Skyrim, Skyrim, shut the fuck up. Everybody expected this game to be LOTR: Skyrim, and were disappointed when it was an action-RPG just like the ones Snowblind has made in the past.  Hm... Why would they make a game in the same format... Oh, because they're not Bethesda, they're Snowblind. You really expected this game to be open world? Moron. Oh, and the combat is not "unbareably" hard, you're just terrible. Dodge and roll, you win. Later.

since when do people get told they are good at reviewing games ? really at the end of it its just some guy who loves to hear their own voice thinking they are giving a fair review then it comes to their opinion at the end and why IGN think they know better than everyone else in the world cause they employ people to talk? seriously it just depends on what the person likes in the game its just an opinion made by a company i actually hate IGN

Okay, the special attacks are plain because its LOTR. this is not Amalur where the special attacks are crazy and awesome! LOTR is supposed to have "realistic" combat in a fantasy world, if you want fire coming out of sword and such, then go play a different game. This reviewer's problem is that he i reviewing the game for everyone, this game was more meant for LOTR fans.

this year a lot of games in this genre have gotten bad reviews, why, because they're not skyrim, why, because ign is reviewing them and ,not saying it out loud, comparing them to skyrim. This is meant to be a good old hack and slasher, and the reintroduction of lord of the rings to next gen consoles

I just love how they give this game minuses for bland repetitive combat, un-interesting characters and a forgettable story.....have any of you played skyrim?? pretty sure its combat is bland, boring and repetitive as hell, un-interesting stiff characters?? has a ENTIRE world full of them, and im pretty sure most people don't realise skyrim has a main quest line.

Just bought it today. This game rocks- kinda reminds me of baldurs gate dark alliance. A lord of the rings hack n slasher with a nice amount of gore. what more do you want?
