A new Air Tanker facility opened yesterday at RAF Brize Norton. A two-bay hangar and support building will be the main operating base for the Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft (FSTA). It will house maintenance facilities, a flight operations centre and the FSTA office headquarters. It has been built to receive the RAF's new fleet of Airbus Trooping and Refuelling Aircraft which are due to enter service in October.
