a parallel universe of another version of Dante haha it's not even funny. I think the Engish studio or Ninja theory wants to create a new story(shit if they want unique then don't use DMC just because it is popular to the fan). It's like that stupid hollywood movie Prince Of Persia(the story is entirely different from the game of POP). Hey look at me I'm the new director I'm unique. Then change the name then don't use DMC.

@pkgod22346 The game's set in in an alternate universe, and is set around the time of the Second DMC game. And the reason he looks different then what we're used to was also an excuse to reinvent him (and possibly other characters) so they could make more games.
