Penn State Student Affairs: The 'Worrisome' Veteran

Hey, not all liberals hate the military. As a liberal, feminist, women's studies major who teaches at a major university, I too find this offensive and ridiculous, as many of my friends and family in the military have no such issues. In fact, I was sent this video by a student because he was so surprised that I was nothing like the idiots here. Be careful that when fighting against the perpetuation of a stereotype, you don't make some yourself.

As an Army veteran of Operation Desert Storm, I feel extremely insulted by this video. As Veteran's Day approaches, one would think that these very same people would not have the rights and cushy life that they do if not for those who serve, past, present and future to keep us safe.
BTW, I have a college degree and I know many other veterans/current military who do as well. Penn State University owes our military and all veterans a huge apology.

I'm not even sure what the point of this video is? Is it advertising something? What is it trying to say? Why did they make it?

Wow. I think Penn State owes an appology to the US Military for this one. This is absurd. If they wanted to exemplify poor student behavior, this could have been any student. Why target veterans? They should know better than to utilize any group as an example. This is beyond comprehension from a University that is trying to set itself as an alternate to the Ivy League. Screw Penn State.

I'm speechless. I think Penn State is run by Communists. Why do they portray veterans as idiots who have anger issues? That guy isn't very convincing and seems toolish. I'm a veteran and haven't had any of the problems this clip portrays.

Oh, and how about those Penn State students who threw beer bottles and cans at a guy wearing an Ohio State jersey a couple of years ago. Those guys were not Veterans.
