  • It's a 100 year old story, Labour gets voted in, fucks up the country, thus the COnservatives get in, have to make difficult decisions to sort out the economy, and when they achieve this, they get criticised for having to make these tough decisions, get voted out, Labour come in, ruin the good work and make it worse than the last time they were in power. It's a vicious cycle, and the people need to realise what they are doing. DON'T VOTE LABOUR.

  • The Conservatives have a right to a private life. Tory sleaze was sexual sleaze mostly, unlike Labour. Secondly, employment did reach 3,000,000, but it was at 1,600,000 when they left. It reached 3,000,000 under the socialists in the 70's. Interest rates were at 15% for about a week to stabilise the pound. Gordon Brown was all for joining the ERM. Kohl, trying to unite Germany, changed the Eastern Currency to the Mark, crippling the pound.

  • Such a ghastly man!

  • @colour749 Cretin...one of the principle roots of the current crisis was a decision in the White House to oblige American mortgage lenders to give mortgages to the unemployed and the very low waged. That decision was under the American socialist party, The Democrats, under Bill Clinton.

It's then a long story of growing financial disaster

It's bloody socialism in all its forms than cannot resist meddling in things they barely understand

  • i think you will find its rather the other way round.

its your tory chums the bankers who caused the recession by the powers they were given by conservative governments.

conservatives are just for the rich and there is no other way about it

  • Prick

  • If he's sincere about helping people, then why does he fiddle with his expenses stealing money from the taxpayers? Why doesn't he volunteer to work for free considering he doesn't need extra money on top of his inherited fortune? He's an opportunist.

  • Not half as many as little George.

    Does it upsets you?

  • What CAN do the Tories do in Opposition? Opposition politicians comment and devise their own policies, but can't implement them.

That's like saying Michael Foot lost in 1983 because he didn't solve the recession of 1981. His policy solutions caused him to lose, not because he didnt do anything.

  • Try telling that to poor communities... you don't have a clue!

  • i think i can sense some sacking in the tory camp as of election day due to incompitance. when people realise that the torys have done nothing about the economy in the last year. and the only things they have done would of worsend the economy. but we didnt accept much from any of their answers, we knew they were all school boy errors. we have to ride this rescession out on the back of our buisnesses. feed the horse to become big and strong and we will ride it up the mountain.
