I had a 1980 FIAT Brava 2.0 Litre exactly as the one in the video. Just sold it last year after 26 years of great driving. This little car was alot of fun to drive.Unfortunately, the FIAT cars that came to the USA in the late 70's and early 80"had a lot of problems with corrosion. I would consider buying the new 500 when they arrive in the USA. I miss my Brava.
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.

Those were the real Fiat. I remember the Spanish SEAT 131 (same chassis as Brava and Fiat 131); so strong car for that years.
Now they are one of the most forgotten brands in Europe, at least in Spain. I only see Puntos and Stilos, no Cromas or cars made for the family... Fiat have had lost a lot of reability those last years.
I hope Chrysler help Fiat to made a new small, mid-size and executive car, but with their own chassis, not a Chrysler-badged.

Italy has had labour problems like work stoppages and other issues. Thats what led up to shlock quality control.

Poland has harsh winters, and they (eventually) salt the roads.
I paid about $405 for my 126p. And $1500 to ship it to Baltimore.

Any place that has snow or a lot of rain seems to be a bad place for old fiats. I want a 80's Panda. There are a bunch on the Italian Ebay. Also a sweet 128 wagon on Ebay usa at the moment. just to expensive

I believe it. I had a challenge to find a 126 that was both rot-free and over 25 years old (for FMVSS exemption) to import from Poland. In fact it took me a few years of active searching to find just the right one and even it needed a new floorboard and paint.

@pf126p That is because most of them rusted very badly. I saw one on Ebay last year. but other that, none in recent years. , they are very very rare.
Where do you find these Fiat USA videos??? (sounds queer! Fiat USA! hahaha, but I respect and love this brand!)
