I'm looking for that synth, but it seems that's almost impossible to find one for me never understand why alesis stopped the production of that gorgeus piece of art.

Every synth video there's always an argument about analog v digital and now you're arguing over analog v analog. It's all personal opinion, yet they all argue that they are right and anyone that thinks differently is wrong. These are probably the kids that argued that my dad is bigger than your dad. Boring.

what patch is at 3:14?

@MrGeorgios2020 i never use the effects in my andromeda, they are terrible. i have a model d, voyager and had a prodigy. the andy sounds completly different. In terms of sound quality...this too me seems irrelavant to the video upload. Moog has a more refined and matured sound but, i think its irrelevant in making compairisons to the andromeda because with each synths distinctive sound an artist will play the intrument completly differently and write different music, - andy is the adventure

@cprostudio I own an original Minimoog and used to own a Memory Moog. The reason why the Andromeda sounds better is because of the fantastic in-built effects. When you add the same effects to the Moogs you get a far superior sound to the Andromeda. I own an Andromeda and have compared the sound (as well as getting other people to compare it to the Moogs with effects added). The verdict is unanimous that the Moogs sound better. They are fatter and have a more complex sound.

@thimios7argiratos I have both and i hate omnisphere, it sounds over polished, you can get so much more out of 1 analog synth and good hardware fx unit. I would imagine it is great for the plugin musician. The analog waveforms are over processed. I wont buy software synths anymore, its money down the drain imho.

@MrGeorgios2020 but its not trying to sound like a moog, and it sounds ALOT better than many moogs, MOOG is a brand, how can you own a moog, do you mean a model d, memorymoog????
-
@thimios7argiratos Yes that is an amazing software synth. I want a hardware version too!!!

It sounds good, but sorry, not as good as a Moog. I should know I own both!!!

@ncheriyan definatly do that i had both and sold my virus, the andromeda blows it away! the virus relies heavely on lots of reverb, as soon as you take the reverb off it sounds just like a softsynth. The andromeda doesnt need any effects, it sounds fantastic. Even greater when adding a little external reverb and guitar pedals. remember the real deal will always be the deal
