Suzuki Grand Vitara burning oil on start up. This is the car I bought from Koenig Chevrolet in Port Angeles, WA on 2-23-09. They say there was nothing wrong with it when they sold it. The car has a 90 day warranty but they say nothing is broken so they won't fix it.
that car smokes mare than me ;)

Yup just bad valve seals. If you keep the engine full of oil it will probably run like this for a long time. Changing the valve stem seals is not that bad of a job. The dealer should atleast pay for half the job or something like that.

@Preludeman91
I have a 95 subaru legacy and i"m experiencing the same thing. How thick can I go as far as oil goes. right now im using 10w-30 sometimes 10w-40. i'm planning to go thicker on my next oil change but i dont know how thick i can go. thanks.

Technically nothing is broken. looks like you have bad valve seals. Not a lot you can do beside rebuild the head/heads. Thicker oil should slow it down some.
