Finally got my Boe Bot to be stable when balancing on two wheel. Yes that is a regular BS2 microcontroller. Not that the table is a soft leather table, thus providing the required damping force to allow this to stand. If this were on a hard surface it wouldn't stand up, BS2 isn't fast enough.

Come on guys , its clear that he used the UltraSonic module you can see it at the right side . basically the balancing depends on the range fluctuation between the constant he set for the corrrect position. But i dont advice doing the same , i would advice using an accelerometer for such an application .

Nope didn't use one, but would probably help.

did you need an accelorometer

Really?? That is your comment? Seriously?
(Just in case you are serious, it would fall over.)
Please post a video of your balancing robot that doesn't depend on batteries or any other power source and can balance forever. (Hell i challenge you to balance forever without food, aka your energy source.)

when i got a boebot in engineering class at purdue, i saw this and wanted to see if i could do it. easier said than done. not only does it take some 'smooth' programming, but balance as well
