DLS is only known as the most prominent HS team ever by everyone of note. Most people have never heard of bellevue, I guess that is why you need to keep reliving this game.

beating other nationally ranked teams (hell bellevue doesn't even play any ranked teams anymore), winning every section title for the past 19 years (and something like 27 of the last 29), not losing to a NorCal team since 1991 (and NorCal seems to have a lot of nationally ranked teams); you are right, I guess DLS doesn't do much.

Let's see, along with being nationally ranked EVERY YEAR since national rankings began (usually number 1 or at least top 5), participating in the State Bowl game every year since they started (winning 3 of 5, losing only by very close games),

This is what happens when they have a big private school next to Okland with over 500,000 people and next to San Francisco with over 800,000 people two of the 40 biggest citys in the USA. In one of the best states for high school sports. They get to pick like 100 kids out of almost 1,000,000 kids from central California alone then thiers the kids they can get from other parts of Cal and the country. Its the perfect storm.
