Finnish State Forest Enterprise Metsähallitus has once again started controversial old-growth forest logging in the forests of Finnish Lapland.

Metsähallitus has recently logged old-growth forests in three areas of intact old-growth forest. The logging is carried out by an order from pulp and paper giant Stora Enso.

  • Forests are a renewable resource. If you truly want to protect forests, buy in need of protection forests for yourself and show yourself so that you are willing to accept financial responsibility.

  • over 100 years old my ass. no fucking fay them trees that small are 100 years old... i'm a logger my self i know a lot bout trees and your not going to site ther on you ass and say them trees are 100 years old when they are not... have you seen what a 100 year old tree looks like... and you said pine..... fucking pine don't get to be 100 years old if they do it wouldn't be a forest of them!
