Ruger 10/22 Unboxing (not airsoft)

Hey guys here is my unboxing on my first real steel rifle.

This is just the standard ruger 10/22 .22lr with a synthetic stock so far i have put 10 mags through the gun or 100 rounds. really nice gun so far!!!!!!!!!!!

It really seems too easy to aquire a firearm in the U.S.. Don't get me wrong, you seem like a responsible guy, but it's too easy for guns to end up in wrong hands (or stupid hands). Just to be sure, what procedures did you go through to buy this?

The safety was off. The red on the safety button was showing signaling it was off.

@yz125racer1 the safety was on. i know you could see some red but the button pushes out another 8mm to signify it is off safe.

You should get a Mosin Nagant. $80 for the rifle and the same again for 440 rounds of surplus ammo. Best deal out their!

the one thing i wish Ruger would put in their 22s is a Last Shot bolt hold open, thats whats in Marlins 22s, but hey, if you enjoy it, thats all that matters, ruger is very reputable
