  • Your dog is the awesomest dog ever

  • @82lawzy ....Thanks!

  • Iv got a 4 month German shepherd and he loves to jump on to new people really aggressively but in an excited way and I get new homestays alot and he always makes a first bad first impression on them by jumping on them and he also sometimes does this at the park, how do I make stop him by being overly excited about meeting new people? Thanks

  • @SuckAFatOne007 The secret to teaching your puppy not to jump is to teach a reliable sit command. Then once he knows the sit command, you can start to phase out the verbal sit command, and reward him simply for sitting when he greets people because now the sitting has become the default behavior for greeting people. To help you with this, I'd recommend working with a trainer or attending a group class. Which city are you in?

  • @SuckAFatOne007 Im actually in New Zealand, not many personal trainers around here. Iv actually got alot of questions about my Shepherd, do you think you could answer them? thanks heaps

  • @SuckAFatOne007 It's a challenge to give adequate help via email but I will if I can. Please email me at info @ Michigan Dog Trainer.com (with the spaces removed)

  • Congrats.

  • @Halvcak3 , he is now. As a pup, he came to me for training as part of my K9 Camp, Board and train. 1.5 years later, the owners moved and were unable to take him with them. So the owners asked me to take him to find a good home for him. I found one home but the person's cat didn't like dogs so after a weekend I took him back and he subsequently then became my dog. He's the most friendly dog toward people and other dogs one could want. He's my soul dog.

  • @cd7671 probably but his breeding history is unknown.

  • is that the american line??
