I do find it odd, however, that such a die hard Liberal would have someone like Sachs - who is constantly slammed for being a Socialist/Lefty - to illustrate their point.

Sachs is a brilliant economist, and he is fairly spot on here. My personal issue with ETS is that, when a companies Marginal Abatement Cost is higher than the market price for Carbon Permits, we essentially have a zero sum game i.e No Change. It will be interesting to see how Rudd handles this and I believe this is why he is talking so closely with the big polluters such as the Coal Industry

This administration is far worse than any so-called Liberal Party 'scare campaign' ever predicted and for different reasons. They told us to watch out because the big bad unions were coming and raising interest rates. If they had of known about the huge tax increases and played on that instead, we might not be swimming around in the economical cesspool with this man but with somebody else right now.
thanks for the video says it all regarding carbon trading
Kevin Dudd signed us into an agreement where we are expected to pay for carbon emmission trading While the biggest carbon offenders CHINA thumb their noses at us
our pensioners cannot afford to turn on their heaters because of the price of electricity here is the crunch if they do turn on their heaters they not only pay through the nose for the electricity they are forced to pay a carbon fee as WELL TO KEEP WARM. GET REAL KEVIN

kevin Rudd first day in power takes of to Indonesia and immediately signs the kyoto protocol and involves Australia in another financial nightmare but while over there gives a 26000 dollar banquet for all his freeloading friends. In the meantime he shows total disregard for his pensioners who cannot even afford to turn on their electric heaters because of the price of electricity Since Anna Bligh sold of our electricity to foreigners who have increased charges twice in less than a year
