Timeless Syl Sylvain classic from the Munster Records LP "Bowery Butterflies". These are the Criminals 1978 demos recorded at the time of Sylvain's tour with David Johansen's group (he actually accepted to join on the condition that they'd let him record his own band). In my opinion, these early versions sound even better, certainly rawer and edgier, than the still excellent debut LP on RCA, released shortly after!
Sylvain Sylvain - Guitar/Vox
Michael Page - Bass
Bobby Blain - Piano
Tony Machine - Drums

Syl's strong point has always been playing guitar clean, and choppy. Love his pop stuff.
