@11kth11 she was being used to transport munitions in the war when she sank she was carrying ammunition for the war this is what titanic would have done her owner the billionaire american j.p. Morgan knew ww1 was coming he was buying up all steel companies in america to produce arms he already owned all rail road stock on west coast usa at this time he was richest man in world bailing out usa to tune of one hundred million dollars he wanted war

Something rather Ironic about that cargo hold is it is one of the few areas of the Lusitania's hull which was still intact at the time.
Thank you so much for posting this, it helped me greatly for my history project! (Our subject at the moment is WW1, and everyone got a specific subject to present - I got Lusitania)
