Not dissn Billy, Jussayn, bottle day for us was a blast! We have the Super Colonna corker/capper which works like your bench capper & a lil red job.

I can't believe the bottles still had labels on them??? I have only brewed 2 batches, we have bottled the 1st and will put our own labels on the commercial Sam Adams, New Belgium, etc. bottles. I use PBW to soak/wash off any interior & exterior crud(even works on year old crud) rinse w/JET bottle washer and soak in 5gal of Star-San for 2 min, drain, hang on tree. we use a 45 peg tree, by placing 6~9 sani btls in filling area Blam! 45 works for 5gal!

@BillyBroas Most commercial glass bottles are printed with 'do not re-use' so I have just thrown them in the rubbish. The plastic is fine to me.

@BillyBroas When I have the space and it is just a sterilant wash, it's four to five seconds between bottles. It seems like you take almost ten seconds. I'd like to see an improvement on this. Part of the reason for the tree, for me, was to be able to bottle in less space and as you have said is convenient to take the bottle direct from the tree to fill ready for capping. I should now have the space any time, instead of having to transfer between crates with only a five bottle drain.

Love mine! I have the same one.

I always run my bottles through the dishwasher just for the initial cleansing, I then soak them in sanitizer on bottling day.......just my thoughts.
I've just got myself a "bottle tree" realising the need, but I doubt that the pump rinser would save time or effort over transferring 1/2 bottle of camden solution from one to the next bottle in conjuction with a small funnel. I have been using this method for years and the rinser only looks like it could delay the job. What are your thoughts now upon its effectiveness versus its promise?

@TheBeebopper It seems to me that the vinator would be faster than transferring from bottle to bottle but then again I've never tried that method. I've got my process down and am comfortable with it which is the most important thing, no matter what method you use.

Just purchased the bottle rinser and tree? Do you brew using the plastic bottles? If so have you been able to use the bottle rinser on them?
I use the Coopers P.E.T Plastic bottles and they go straight over the pump.
thanks for the video.

@tufnel1970 Hey sorry I only use glass bottles. So are you saying the plastic ones won't work because they go over the pump? They must have pretty wide necks.
I recommend starting your glass bottle collection now since you'll want to go that route eventually. They're free if you reuse the commercial beers you drink, bottle caps are dirt cheap, and a capper is $10-$15. Let me know if you have any more questions. Glad you like the video.
