@Latterlife Captain Archer could not compare to Captain Kirk or even Captain Picard. Captain Kirk was an explorer, a diplomat, a Soldier and a superb leader all in one person. Captain Archer seemed like some washed out academy drop out by comparison. Small wonder Captain Kirk's role models were Lincoln and real Starship Commanders like Garth of Izar and Captain Pike and not Captain Archer.

Great collection of scenes. I think the music goes well with the video.

Star Trek 12 should be Harder edged witha Less Dumbed Down story. we need Fist Fights,Ice ColdBehavior from the bad Guys and from the Good Guys. We need Captain Kirk in his Youth at his bes twith hisright Hand Man Spock at his Side on the Lookout. The Knights have to be at thei Best. The Next Generation was a Lame Substitute fo what was Best, even though it did have2 or 3 Good Characters that were Great. Only oenofthos Characters was allowed to grow anddevelop on one ofthe spin-offs. Kirk is # !

@katakisLives Well, UPN was half dead as it was when Enterprise was cancelled.

Shame they were forced to rush to the end of the Enterprise series, I was hoping for a more detailed look at the founding of the federation, they should have been able to keep the series going long enough to connect it to TOS era, see more races join up and more technologies get developed, and the earth Romulan war,
-
Captain Kirk man. Kirk saved the federation/earth on 3 occassions in the movies alone. in TOS he saved the federation from monsters that would've eaten the whole galaxy or madmen that would've ruled the whole galaxy.
-
Captain Archer. now he sure was the most legendary. He was the one that saved Earth from the Xendi, and he must have been there during the Romulan wars. And, for the foundation of the United Federation of Planets.
-
USS Yorktown was theoriginal name for the enterprise. It later appeared in the episode with M5 and also in a scene in ST4
-
USS Yorktown? Which series is that from? I don't think I saw that ever in the TNG or DS9 or Voyager or Enterprise.
I really liked the photo of Kirk and Pike together.
