PHIL HARE - RAKES OF KILDARE/CALIOPE HOUSE

Two slow jigs sourced from Ireland and done on guitar. 'Rakes' appears in O'Neills book of dance tunes, but I learnt it from fiddler Mary-Ann Wise when we were both in the Fiddle Band on Merseyside. 'Caliope House' was written by former Boys Of The Lough member Dave Richardson and has been used in Riverdance productions as well as being popular in sessions. The guitar is tuned CGDGAD.

May I have a copy of your tabs for both of these songs? Great versions, especially Calliope House! All of the tabs available online lack the great bass you chose to include! Very pleased with this rendition of the classics!
