  • first good song on this albume i've heard

  • A cover of a Marilyn Manson song that samples a Nine Inch Nails song that samples an Iggy Pop song...

  • What. The. Fuck. No bueno.

  • Some of the covers a good, this is just like, its' like he just took the lyrics and did whatever the hell he wanted with the music. o_O

It doesn't have the emotion or sadness, and lol @Dakedoom

  • @24okay also, Trent has often stated that he lets people use his music to do whatever they want. use samples in their own music and such. i don't understand what you're so defensive about

  • @24okay i know what you said, but i don't understand why. melodies aren't the only things that can be copied/borrowed/plagiarised. a beat is not just a beat. it has a distinct sound consisting of percussion, synth effects and production. not only that, but the song Closer is far too known in the electro-industrial scene for this to be some astronomical coincidence. and even so, i do not care. i'm not judging anybody for it, simply pointing out what i considered to be ironic

  • @Dakedoom That you said it was from a Nine Inch Nail's song because that is the only thing you had reference to, when it is just a beat that you were only able to identify. So by someone creating a beat that sounds similar, they have to be accused of "USING" someone else's song? Of course not, unless they have something else, such as the bassline or a melody. That's my point.

  • @24okay what the hell is your point?

  • @Dakedoom It sounds like it, but can't it just be a beat? That's like me taking all the EBM ever made that is Dj friendly and saying BOOM BOOM BOOM is from some random old school trance song. I mean really..
