2010 Camaro vs 2008 Charger SRT8

Went up against this 2008 Charger SRT8 in the third round of racing at the Texas Motor Speedway Scion Drag N Brag on Friday 07.31.2009. He beat me out of the hole but the 2010 Camaro comes back to win in the end!

Thanks for posting! I own a Charger SRT8 and love it! The Camaro is also a excellent ride. I often read comments about Mustangs vs Camaro vs Challenger vs whoever.....so and so is faster. Who cares, everybody has their personal preferance. I understand it all about bragging rights but unless there is an investment of monetary value then I care less if whoever is faster....congratulations. Again great Camaro!

@JoeLeoFos Thanks, Joe. The Charger;s are nice car's, that's for sure. Although I lean more toward Chevy's (obviously) I think it's cool to appreciate the lines of all kinds/makes of of hotrods... they're all muscle!

@DurtyNellyCom no way? really? hmmm, thats crazy. that means my dads 08 gt could run with a auto and maybe a manual. he runs like 0-60 in 4.0 seconds with me in the car

@paladain55 - that 426hp rating is for the LS3, which is what comes with the manual. The automatic gets the L99, which comes with a 400hp rating.

@DurtyNellyCom haha, not anymore the new 5.0 is faster than your ss camaro stock for stock. 5.0 > 6.2. theyre pretty close though, its more of a weight thing though, seeing as the 5.0 has 412, and the 6.2 has 426, but thats pretty good for having one less liter than the camaro. past that i love both cars
