The DLR'S have no drivers! They have operators that operate the doors. You know so much for a person that uses it everyday huh >lee8131

No they don't.

No, the DLR does not have drivers. They have men who operate the doors and tell the computer when to start the train. The computer accelerates, brakes and stops the DLR at the stations automatically.

there's a fair bit of manual driving done by the PSA's on the DLR these days cos of all the works being done on it. Spoke to an ex DLR Train Captain that said that they used to drive manual in the evenings and they were faster than the computer....

There is a driver. Look carefully, you can see his reflection in the cab window.
