Accra with 2 millions inhabitants is not only Ghana's capital. It is also capital for the musical style that is on the road to conquer the entire westafrica: Hip life. It was in the middle of nineties as Reggie Rockstone delivered an entire new genre when he begun to rap on the ashanti language twi. Ten years later everybody loves Hip life and new studios pop up everywhere in Accra. One of the biggest stars is called Tic Tac. He is also known as Ghana's Busta Rhymes and as our guide he shows up his Accra. We also meet the genre's biggest female artist, MzBe.l And we take a drink with the godfather of Hiplife himself, Reggie Rockstone.

TWI is not a dialect of ACCRA , TWI is from Kumasi, the local dialect of Accra is GA , Ashantis are from Kumasi give credit to the fact that Accra is where the Ga`s are from and Ashantis migrated to Ga territory. Be real

achiepala .. thats not what i said... i said twi is not a dialect of accra .. so i dont get why twi speakers cant take the time to learn an accra dialect..

do u see scottish people travelling to london and speaking scottish?...no they speak english like the people in london..

the only reason why accra natives speak twi in accra was to accomodate the ashantis that swarmed into accra..if twi speakers cant be bothered to learn our language in our area then why come to accra in the 1st place.?
