*Part 2 is in the "More from Vaasnaad" section or from my channel page. I uploaded as a response, but YouTube won't put it in as a response for some reason.*

Before I get the Cinelerra tutorials rolling, I've got a couple of requests to crank out, which is great, because it lets me tweak my screencast setup in Kubuntu (I changed distros!). This one is for water4fuelh20. I find editing in Kino counterintuitive compared to Cinelerra, but that aside, it's really pretty simple. Hopefully, this will let someone having problems get the ball rolling!

Like I said, I'm still tweaking things, so let me know if you have any feedback on how to make the tutorials easier. For instance, I think I'm going to add a zoom feature for the next one so I can call attention to points of interest better. Don't forget to click on the HIGH QUALITY version and also the video response for part 2.

  • fake and gay

  • @WoodIsGood321 Thank GOD! You just don't feel the love till you get "fake and gay" comments. Which part gave it away as fake?

  • how do you edit music ?

  • @9CristianX If I'm using Kino, I usually edit it in Ardour, Cinelerra or Audacity then just use the pre-edited clip in Kino. Kino is fairly limited in capability and I don't even know if you can do more than overlay like I did in this video.

  • does anyone know how to remove audio from a clip and adding new one ?

  • @IGB06255 Truthfully, I use Cinelerra for all that. There's not really a decent ability to edit audio in Kino...

  • you are funny! :) most of these whippersnappers today probably don't even know what a cassette is

  • Thanks man!

  • @nannynicky4life Thanks! He's cute and he (unfortunately) knows it! He also LOVES onions but only if they are grilled, smoked and caramelized... So I don't know if that counts. He was on a coffee trip... would not stop talking about it and begging for it, so I decided I'd show him and let him try it. Not only did he like it but he STILL wants a taste when we have some.

  • @PamelaCaremlaThomas you can get the source and packages from kinodv(dot)org. If you have Ubuntu, just use Synaptec or go to a console window and type "sudo apt-get install kino" and you're done! :-)
