When I was a young man of 15. My first job was in a pool hall in Oshawa Ontario. I swept the tables of lint and dust and stood back as the real men took to those same tables. Later one of those evenings Cliff Thorburn came and demonstrated how one played snooker. Ohh the skills he had...

Cliff THorburn is a great guy and a derserving champion, master at many things....He will always be the first 147 at the crucible, all you brits you only post videos on here with them losing...where are the videos when he beat Higgins in the 80 final or the 3 masters titles he won...HUH where are those vid;s......and what about the 80's semi's with Higgins and Kirk Stevens...White and Stevens always had great matchs...

All from a dodgy first shot. You have to take your luck where you find it.....
