My orange push reel mower

A short clip about my orange push reel mower. I love my mower it has liberated me from buying gas and being lazy. Plus it is orange. It has helped me reconcile some confused emotional turmoil. Living is a suburb was never a life I thought I would choose, but small changes can make it seem less evil.

What do you use to lubricate the blades? And how often do?

the blood of grass!!!! that's all. Actually once in a while I think silicone spray would be good. Really they need little upkeep.

I have one too! I love the sound it makes. The neighbors appreciate it, too. Little kids walking by always ask me if they can try it. I always say "Yes!" It's kind of a Tom Sawyer thing.

I love my reel mower but never ever miss a week of mowing otherwise you'll have to drag out the gasoline mower.

I have a reel mower that I bought to use when my gas mower was in the shop.

Now I prefer to use the reel mower and not breathe exhaust fumes.

The only time I ever use the gas mower anymore is if the grass has gotten overgrown.

@TYUF786 i have allergies and i find i dont deal with them nearly as much now while cutting with my reel mower....it doesnt blow everything around like the gas powered mower

bought one on the way to get gas three years ago.....ain't bought gas since .better cut,twice as fast ,quiet ,no more grass blown all over everything

if you can't afford to put 1 dollar worth of gasoline in a lawn mower then your probably living beyond your means and have no business owning property and should probably sell the house and move in to a apartment. I'd like to know how many hybrid car owners are one of those people with a forclosure.
