This week on SciByte we throw science at a few Old Wives Tales ? and see what sticks. Plus we take a look at the science that makes them true, false or somewhere in between.
Motion sickness type symptoms come from watching poorly tuned or slow refresh rate Monitors too, same as playing games in a 1st person view or when lots of colors are moving across the screen quickly like a Guitar hero style game. I suffer from those when playing First Person Shooters so i avoid those type of games.
Symptoms nausea, eye strain, migranes.
Great Show and i'm sure Mythbusters wouldn't complain since you are knowledgeable and there is another show that rips them off more :)
Can you do an episode about the wierd things inQuantum physics?

I get eye strains and migranes from using monitors often, so that part is true but it's not permanent.
