I watched some clips of the movie and it does look like it was horribly done.But for a little kid maybe it is a good movie. It seems like it was done in a very childish way, I mean the acting and all.

I read the book and liked it. Was going to watch the movie but after seeing the horrible cast/acting from this short clip and hearing Siskel and Eberts review, I think I will pass. ( : Or maybe I should give a frown ) : because I don't have anything to do now.

I saw this movie because I'm a fan of Bruce Campbell........and he died about five minutes into it!
