When the car is doing around 210-211mph and the top speed is around 204mph the error is in the region of 3.5-4% which is realistic. Did anyone say, that the "speed" indicated in the speedo is the "actual" speed.

@redi19 the speedo's in cars arent acurate at those speeds... so it was prob around what bmw says it can do not to mention there could have been a gradien that allowed the car to go faster

@mattinperth lol BMW engineers said car is capable of 205 mph and this guy does 211 lmao. I believe highest they've ever done is 193 mph as in the m6. So this is bullshit. And yes that extra 12 mph will come at a cost of at least an extra 100 hp or lower drag coefficient.

Nice run. I'm looking at buying one of these right now. I can't decide on the '08 M5, or the '08 M3. I've read the fuel milage on the M5 of as 17 highway, 11 city. Going that fast, it must have been sucking gas like a Lear jet. :)

just recently bought a 08 corvette..one of the most biggest regret of my life..i wish i could if got the 09 m3 or m5 or m6 instead..sigh..corvette is just fast thats it driving experience is horrible.like leaf spring whatever its fucking horrible..only time i enjoy it is when the peddle is to the ground and listening to the engine doing the low throttle brawr!! and being push back to the seat..but thats all it offers...fuck my decision shake my motherfucking head
