  • Wow! That's all I can say.

This is one of the hardest pieces in modern choral literature. I can't believe that I'm hearing a HIGH SCHOOL choir doing it...

I sang this piece in a PRO choir in Atlanta- the Atlanta Sacred Chorale- and this was the most challenging piece that we did! You worked hard and should feel very proud. You are lucky to have a director that is willing to stretch you with music like this. Your blend is superb, especially for a group of this size... Bravo!

  • You are an incredibly talented group. This is a tough piece, it is hard to make it "live" in the right way, and you make it live.

  • @sswell25 This made me chuckle, as another Mason City High School CC member.

  • Mason City High School doin this at the worldwide competition in chicago. mchs>

  • This is a highschool choir? Wow, This piece is really hard to perform especially for a highschool choir.

  • Now I finally love this piece so much, what a magnificent music!

  • Amazing! Your performance infuses this piece with a vibrancy and power missing from many of the recordings other groups have made. You exalt the material and raise the level of artistry to new heights. I love your blended sound; so often the low voices get lost in the mix, but here they play their intended part to wonderful effect.

  • A high school choir sang this? That's incredible. I think the sound was incredible. The intonation was slightly sharp, but not very noticeable.

  • Excelente obra, magnífica interpretación

  • Mr. Harris still teaching there? He did this with the Faribault HS concert coir in 2000. Good job on this. Ask him about the trip to England.
