Can you explain what the point of the "core pins" is? That is, why have explicit pins to make those holes as opposed to just having similiary shaped protrusions coming out of the cavity which would seemingly have the same effect.

Great demonstration of what SW can do. That video did make it look pretty easy. Thanks for posting it up.

where is the "body move/copy" option? I have the 2008 version!

@ganzi1 Under the Insert Dropdown menu you will find it in Features. It is labelled Move/Copy. Alternatively, you can customise your interface by going to Tools > Customize (not customize menu), and on the commands tab, you will see Move/Copy and you can add it to any tab or toolbar. That will save you going to Insert > Features > Move/Copy every time.

Hi there, I think I have version 2009 premium however there doesn't seem to be "mold tools" tab along the top....any help on how to get this?!
debzed88 11 months ago
@debzed88 Right click on one of the tabs you do have, this will bring up a list of all the possible tabs you can show. Mold Tools will be listed there. Otherwise, you can right click at the very top, on the grey bar and bring up a Mold Tools toolbar. Hope this helps.
