Sydney Festival 2009 - where everyone can get musical!

As part of the Sydney Festival between Jan 10-31, a number of piano's have been placed around the city.
I came across this lovely old guy this morn & I was really touched by his marvellous playing. I am not too sure if he is homeless but it made me realise what joy this must be bringing him!!
It made my day!

Such a nice idea. I live near the Washington DC area where they displayed beautiful painted donkey, elephant and panda statues on the streets a few years ago - some were damaged too. Sad. I can't understand why people do that. BTW- My heart breaks for Andrew's Dad; don't know what I would have done if someone had taken my son away. I'll be watching for him and his Mom in our area. yes i noticed when i was walking 2 work on friday that this one has some music sites written all over it, then someone painted it green & left his signature on it as been an artist...i am so happy i filmed it in it's original state!! yes so sad about wee little andrew! ur such a sweetheart! xjoeyx

unreal comment, yes u should see the diffent people playing them...i can't stop watching them & just to hear the nice music as u walk 2 walk...wonderful!! hugs from xjoeyx
