NEW PROPOSED GI BILL for Starting a Small Business:

A disabled vet wrote this GI Bill. It allows veterans to start a new veteran-owned or service disabled veteran owned small business using their GI Bill Benefits. The Vet Act GI Bill provides an alternative career track for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans who will not pursue a college degree under the Montgomery GI Bill or Post-9/11 GI Bill.

so yea due to the cut to our gi bill or "gi bill 2.0" you still can go to any any public college but if you want to be funded for a tech school well you're pretty much fucked. I had to cancel my classes because the government doesn't have to keep their word.

@LastXdeth Are you referring to the 2011 GI Bill? You have not heard of it because it is a bill waiting to be introduced into the Senate and the House. Once passed it will allow Gulf War vets the ability to use their 100% of their GI benefits to start a small business. You can read more at vetbizgibill
